Dungeon of Doom to expand attractions with purchase of new building

ZION – The legendary Dungeon of Doom has secured a new building to expand attractions commencing with the 2014 season. The new expanded facility is within a couple of blocks of the haunted house's former location on Deborah Avenue.

Enterprises LLC, Dungeon of Doom Haunted House, purchased a 41,220-square-foot industrial building at 600 29th St. The building is adjacent to Illinois State Beach Park recreational area.Robert Elbrecht of Tri-State Realty represented the seller, a private trust.Owners Peter Koklamanis and Anthony Relken said in a shared statement, "We envision new special haunted attractions since we now have full control of the building. Based on the building design and elevations, Dungeon of Doom is excited about the ability to go underground."
