Forest preserve to host Community Volunteer Day

BOLINGBROOK – The Forest Preserve District of Will County is seeking volunteers for a community service day to improve forest preserves in celebration of Earth Day weekend.

Volunteers can help with trail maintenance, brush clearing, wood chipping and more from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at Whalon Lake, west of Route 53 on Royce Road.
