Published: Monday, May 5, 2014 12:50 p.m. CST

The Marklund Resale store in Wood Dale has plenty of products to show off this spring, thanks to donations of brand-new kitchenware and more from the exhibitors at the Chicago International Home and Housewares Show.

In addition to kitchenware, other donations from vendors include utensils, bathroom accessories, barware, decorative trays, office desks, glassware, storage containers, travel mugs, holiday decor, dishes, cleaning supplies, shelves and wickless electric candles.

Some featured brands are Neat-Nix organizers, World Kitchen, Maxwell & Williams, Coca-Cola and Le Creuset kitchenware.

All proceeds from the resale store benefit Marklund, a nonprofit organization that serves infants, children and adults with severe developmental disabilities. Marklund provides residential, therapeutic and educational services in Geneva and Bloomingdale.

The resale store is located at 490 Georgetown Square (Irving Park Road) in Wood Dale.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
