VILLA PARK – Salt Creek School District 48 will conduct a free developmental screening for children ages 3 to 5 on May 2 at Salt Creek Primary School, 980 Riverside Drive in Elmhurst.

The screening process identifies how a child is developing. Assessment areas include speech and language, small muscle skills, social/emotional development and pre-readiness skills.

The screenings are conducted by professional school staff. Each screening takes about 60 minutes, and results are shared with parents within a week.

Children must live in the district, but cannot be currently enrolled in kindergarten.

Appointments are necessary and can be made by calling Jamie at the district office at 630-832-6122 ext. 4001.
