Kane County Sheriff’s Office police reports

• A hit-and-run accident was reported Monday, April 14, at Randall and Crane roads in St. Charles Township. A 2012 Toyota Prius was reportedly rear-ended while stopped at a red light. The offending vehicle was possibly a maroon SUV, police reported.

• A graphing calculator valued at $125 was reported stolen Wednesday, April 9, from Kaneland High School, 47W326 Keslinger Road, Maple Park.

• A resident of the 5N500 block of Creek View Lane, St. Charles Township, reported Tuesday, April 15, that she attempted to file her income taxes but couldn’t because someone already filed with her Social Security number. She told police she believes it was related to credit card notifications she received in December and January about credit cards she never applied for.
