East star Hanewall signs for Clemson volleyball

LOMBARD – Glenbard East senior Meghan Hanewall signed her letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Clemson University.

Hanewall, a 5-foot-11 outside hitter, was a four-year varsity player. She led the Rams with 320 kills this season and also had 35 aces, 136 digs and 22 blocks.

"Meghan is a solid six rotation outside who comes from one of the top clubs in the country," Clemson head coach Jolene Jordan Hoover said in a press release on Clemson's website. "We have had a long line of Sports Performance players and we are excited to keep that going. She has a tremendous work ethic and will fit in well with our current team."
