HINSDALE – The student planning committees from Hinsdale Central and Hinsdale South are seeking support for the 19th annual "24 Hour Relay Challenge."

Hosted by Hinsdale Township High School District 86, the event will take place from 10 a.m. May 17 at 10 a.m. to May 18 on the Hinsdale Central track and football field.

Student participants raise money up front for their team’s entry fee. Proceeds from the event allow at risk District 86 students to participate in summer school, clubs, retreats and activities throughout the 2014-2015 school year.

Proceeds are also donated to community organizations and benefit Hinsdale Central and Hinsdale South students.

This year, 24 Hour Relay Challenge will benefit the Seed of Hope Foundation, The Bread Truck, Tony’s Gym, The Port Free Clinic and The Community House. All donations are tax-deductible.

For those who would like to make a monetary donation, or a product donation (water, sports drinks, fruit, etc.), call 630-570-8383 or email atatro@hinsdale86.org.
