GLEN ELLYN – The diagnostic medical imaging sonography program at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd., is seeking pregnant volunteers to participate in free scanning sessions this spring, according to a college news release.

The sessions will take place 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays through May 7 and will allow students to practice scanning while being supervised by certified sonographers.

Participants receive a “first photo” of their baby. Family members are welcome to observe.

The scans are not diagnostic tests. Reports are not issued.

Volunteers are asked to speak with their physicians before attending.

Each session is 45 to 60 minutes. Participants should arrive 10 minutes before their appointment.
