Candy company signs lease to occupy 747,000-square-foot warehouse in Bolingbrook

BOLINGBROOK – Ferrara Candy Co. is coming to Bolingbrook in what Crain's Chicago Business called the biggest industrial lease in the Chicago area this year.

The company is moving its warehouse to a 747,152-square-foot facility that formerly housed the Home Depot Inc. distribution facility, according to Crain's.

The candy maker signed a 15-year deal to lease the warehouse at 901 Carlow Drive, just off Interstate 55, Crain's reports.

Ferrara Candy's products include Lemonheads, Chuckles, Red Hots, Boston Baked Beans and Now and Later. The company merged with Minnesota-based Farley’s & Sathers in 2012.

Ferrara's headquarters are located in Oakbrook Terrace.
