Park district to host paper shred event in Lisle

LISLE – The Lisle Park District will host a free paper shred event with on-site destruction 9 a.m. to noon April 26 at Community Park, 1825 Short St., according to a district news release.

Accepted items include documents with paper clips, staples or binder clips; junk mail; envelopes and cancelled checks.

Items that will not be accepted include plastic, binders, cardboard or other non-paper items.

Submissions must be in disposable containers, with a limit of five per car.

The event will take place by the basketball courts and ramp park.
