BERWYN – The city of Berwyn is planning to celebrate Mexican culture from 5:30 to 8 p.m., for Cinco de Mayo – May 5.

Cermak Road will come alive May 5 with live entertainment on Berwyn’s “main street,” on the south side of Cermak Road between East Avenue and Scoville Avenue. Admission is free.

Activities include face painting, mariachi and folkloric dancers from Pulse Dance Studio and Peggy Rose Academy of Dance.

The first 100 people who say “Buy Berwyn” at Paleteria La Michoacana Tradicional will receive a free paleta ice pop.
