Police reports: Bolingbrook for April 16

Assault

Javier Garcia-Aguilar, 20, of 3905 W. 64th St., Chicago, was charged with aggravated assault, battery and resisting a peace officer at 4:10 a.m. April 6 at 305 Woodcreek Drive.

Controlled substance possession

Amy Shemberger, 30, of 591 E. 4th St., Lockport, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug equipment and failure to signal after a traffic stop at 5:56 p.m. April 5 in the 400 block of Rockhurst Road.

Marijuana possession

Haven Edwards, 25, of 315 Newport Lane, Aurora, was charged with resisting a peace officer and possession of marijuana at 7:15 p.m. April 6 in the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive.

DUI

• Jose Dorado, 39, of 129 Grady Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged with speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at 2:53 a.m. March 23 at Bolingbrook Drive and Robinhood Way.

• Datrell Brookins, 19, of 129 Pepperwood Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged with hit and run, failure to notify damage and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at 7:29 p.m. April 3 in the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive.

• Jose Trujillo, 25, of 215 Hywood Lane, Bolingbrook, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving too fast for conditions and improper lane use after a traffic stop at 2:10 a.m. April 4 in the 500 block of Remington Boulevard.

• Julio Diaz, 45, of 410 Langford Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged with speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at 12:56 a.m. April 5 in the 100 block of East Boughton Road.

• Felisa Morris, 32, of 513 Sonoma Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, having no insurance and violation of a one-way street after a traffic stop at 4:01 a.m. April 6 at Rt. 53 and I-55.

• Ivan Martinez, 22, of 325 DuPage Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged with two counts of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving in the wrong lane and having no insurance after a traffic stop at 5:38 a.m. April 9 at Remington Boulevard and Woodcreek Drive.

• Carlos Velasco, 39, of 518 Goodwin Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged with traffic signal violation, driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage and having no insurance after a traffic stop at 1:19 a.m. April 9 in the 800 block of East Boughton Road.

Burglary

• Jonathan Mendez, 19, of 229 Picardy Lane, Bolingbrook, was charged with burglary to a motor vehicle at 5:01 a.m. April 3 in the 1000 block of Towner Drive.

• Michael Weathers-Veal, 21, of 270 Sioux Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged with burglary from a motor vehicle at 8:55 a.m. April 3 in the 400 block of West Boughton Road.

Theft

• Ariel Davis, 19, of 12523 S. Central Ave., Alsip, was charged with theft for allegedly taking $1,030 sometime between March 27 and April 5 from registers at Macy’s, 645 E. Boughton Road.

• Allyson Knight, 21, of 127 Seabury Road, Bolingbrook, and Maurice Thomas, 23, of 441 Rockhurst Road, Bolingbrook, were both charged with retail theft April 6 at Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Road.

• Twelve tires were removed from a trailer sometime between April 2 and 3 in the 100 block of South Joliet Road.

Thefts

• A 1993 Wabash trailer was taken from a parking lot between Feb. 4 and April 4 in the 500 block of West North Frontage Road.

• An envelope with $400 was removed at 12:20 a.m. April 5 from Dunkin’ Donuts, 200 S. Bolingbrook Drive.

• A portable grill was taken from a backyard overnight on April 5 in the 400 block of Salem Square.

• A Samsung cellphone was taken sometime between 3 and 3:20 p.m. April 6 from the 100 block of North Bolingbrook Drive.

• A tire was removed from a vehicle parked in the 500 block of Kildeer Drive sometime between April 8 and 9.

• Two Xbox controllers were stolen at 11:53 a.m. April 9 at Wal-Mart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Drive.

Property damage

• Graffiti was found on a wall in the 1800 block of Apple Valley Drive.

• A tailgate to a vehicle was damaged sometime between April 4 and 5 on Brittany Court.
