Batavia resident Kimberly Gotches, 30, was working at the Geneva Public Library when she answered 10 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? Chicago until I was 13, and then many different suburbs.

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Julia Roberts

First job? Lifeguard

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a writer, and I do write. I work at the library in public relations and an adult programming associate.

A book you’d recommend? “Tuesdays with Morrie” by Mitch Albom

Favorite charity? Open Books, a literacy charity in Chicago

What game show would you be on? “Family Feud”

Favorite local restaurant? Every restaurant in Geneva

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I’m from a big Greek family. When we all went to see “My Big Fat Greek Wedding,” we took up three whole rows in the theater and talked about who in the movie reminded us of different family members.

Anything else? I’m taking an improv class.
