BM2 John Burnett and GSM2 AthenaMae Yeager addressed their shipmates by the flagpole in front of Bldg. 1 after reenlisting on April 11.

The clocktower atop Bldg. 1 is perhaps the most iconic structure on board Naval Station Great Lakes (NSGL), so when GSM2 AthenaMae Yeager and BM2 John Burnett decided to reenlist, their thoughts naturally turned toward raising their right hands high above Great Lakes in the clocktower. Last Friday, that’s exactly what the two of them did, and their shipmates from NSGL came out to help them celebrate.
