Shake it for Blake fundraiser to be held Friday

WESTERN SPRINGS –The first ever Shake it for Blake, a Zumba-thon event, will be held Friday to raise money for a local boy's medical expenses.

Blake Donegan, 18, of La Grange Park, has Niemann Pick C, a terminal neurological disease. The disease affects Blake's ability to talk, walk, eat, swallow and remember.

The Zumba-themed event will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Lyons Township High School's Corral, 4940 Willow Springs Road. Tickets are $15 per adult and $10 for students. Kids under 18 years of age must have a signed wavier from a parent.
