Glendale Heights police seek public's help in identifying reported home invaders

GLENDALE HEIGHTS – The Glendale Heights Police Department responded to a reported home invastion at 10:37 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of Gregory Avenue.

Two male subjects reportedly broke into an apartment and removed recording equipment from the residence before fleeing in a black vehicle of an unknown model with chrome rims, according to a police department news release. One offender displayed a handgun, the release stated.

One subject is described as a 5-foot, 10-inch African-American man, about 18 years old, wearing a gray baseball cap and red hooded sweatshirt with a Michael Jordan emblem, according to the release.

The second subject is described as a 6-foot, 2-inch African-American man with dreadlocks, about 21 years old, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and displaying an unknown type of handgun, the release stated.

The police department is seeking community assistance in identifying the subjects and vehicle involved in the reported home invasion.
