WEST CHICAGO – Little Details, a downtown West Chicago home decor consignment shop, will celebrate its one-year anniversary April 26 and 27 in town.

The store, located at 100 Arbor Ave., Unit A, is owned by Julie Rubio, who plans to expand her offerings in light of the success of her first year in business, according to a city news release.

Additional products and services will include a greater selection of options and styles, the introduction of women’s designer clothing and footwear, more of Rubio’s own creations, more local hand-crafted items and private consultations for decorating and organizing ideas.

Rubio’s husband, Jesus, also will offer paint services for people wishing to give their old furniture a new look.

Another change in Little Details’ second year of business will be the introduction of a new loyalty card program that tracks customer purchases to earn future discounts.

The weekend anniversary celebration will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. It will feature special sales, refreshments, prizes and many surprises.
