Cook County Sheriff offering weekly senior classes through May 6

LEMONT – The second of six Seniors and Law Enforcement Together class will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Lemont Township Senior Center, 16300 Alba St.

The Cook County Sheriff's Office is conducting the weekly SALT classes on issues regarding senior safety through May 6.

Topics include "Crimes Against the Elderly/Senior Safety," "Law Enforcement Agency Operations," "Gangs and Illegal Drugs in Cook County," "Court Services, Corrections and Alternative Incarceration Programs," and "Local Community Policing Programs and Graduation."
