Barrington area Michael Joseph Foundation to host second annual benefit for the homeless

BARRINGTON – The Michael Joseph Foundation is hosting its Second Annual Benefit Tea from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 10 at the Sanfilippo Estate's Eden Palais Carousel Pavilion, 789 Plum Tree Road in Barrington.

Guests can enjoy a guided tour of the Sanfilippo Musical Collection, hors d'oeurves, refreshments, a preview of raffle items and boutique shopping. The main event will be a High Tea Luncheon and Fashion Show.

Fashions will be provided by Saavy Spirit, Coldwater Creek, Amazing Gracies and White House Black Market. Vendors to be present include Rache' Jewelry North and Hudson, Vickies Personal Touch, Sephora Gift Bags and Solisq.

The event will be emceed by Rusty Hernandez.

The Michael Joseph Foundation was created in response to an increasing number of homeless families due to job loss, serious illness or other personal tragedies. The foundation is dedicated to providing transitional housing to families in crisis.
