ADDISON – Razny Jewelers in Addison and Swiss watchmaker Breitling are raising money for the Els for Autism Foundation this month.

In support of Autism Awareness Month, Razny and Breitling will donate 20 percent of proceeds from any Breitling timepiece with a blue dial sold during April at the store to the Els for Autism Foundation.

The Els for Autism Foundation was established in 2009 by professional golfer Ernie Els and his wife, Liezl, after their son was diagnosed with autism. The foundation aims to help young individuals and families on the autism spectrum, according to a Breitling news release.

The disorder, which affects one in 68 children in the U.S., has long been associated with the color blue since autism is 4.5 times more common among boys than among girls, the release stated.

Razny Jewelers is open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and Friday. The story is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Razny Jewelers is located at 1501 W. Lake St. in Addison.
