Westchester commission to offer Electronics Recycling Event

WESTCHESTER – The village of Westchester is planning an Electronics Recycling Event for April 12.

The event – sponsored by the Environmental Sustainability Commission – will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Westchester Village Hall, 10300 W. Roosevelt Road. Acceptable items include computers, monitors, scanners, cell phones, iPods, video game consoles and more.

Along with accepting electronics, the commission will also be collecting non-perishable food items, which will be donated to the Westchester Food Pantry.
