Junior Warriors cap season with tourney title

The Junior Warriors travel basketball team enjoyed a season full of successes this winter. The squad, comprised of eighth graders, went 15-4 in the Silver North division during the regular season in the DuPage Youth Travel Basketball League, then captured first place in the DYTBL Silver A tournament in Geneva on March 1 and 2. The Warriors defeated Bartlett and Western Spring to reach the tourney finals, then defeated the Knights for the title. Members of the team are (front row, from left): John Taylor, Seth Quick, Buddy Martens, Demarkus Horton, Justin Ceh, Matt Myers, (back row) coach Mike Quick, Kevon Dobbins, Neal Paxton, Sam Pelsor, Chris Diaz, Drew Krueger, Ethan Schumer, Kevon Dobbins, and coach Nick Frega.
