Published: Wednesday, March 26, 2014 11:21 a.m. CDT

First-year coach Charlie Stascia takes over St. Joseph softball this year.

Stascia will have a young team to work with, but the team's top players are veterans. Three seniors, Rachel Tucker, Becky Ruiz and Christie Wilhight, will be a part of the vetern core. Tucker and Ruiz have multiple years of varsity experience.

Junior third baseman Tiana Little is entering her third year on varsity.

"We're bringing up many underclass players and building for the future," Stascia said.
