BERWYN – Students at Berwyn's Piper School partnered up with North Central College in Naperville to develop a lifelong love of science.

The program, Super Saturday Science, is devoted to developing a love of science in young girls for a fun exploration of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) activities.

The program began on Feb. 1 and was held for six weeks. Each class began with a lab demonstration by science students at North Central College, and then followed with an opportunity for the girls to work in small groups on projects. Students studied heat transfer, water molecules, electrical charges and animal behavior.
