CLARENDON HILLS – In April, ComEd will begin tree trimming the Clarendon Hills downtown area, as well the region south of Chicago Avenue and east of Prospect Avenue, according to the village's website.

Tree trimming is done annually through the ComEd distribution area in an effort to reduce outages caused by vegetation and enhance safety, according to the website.

Property owners may appeal planned vegetation management activities through ComEd or the Illinois Commerce Commission by calling 800-524-0795.
