LEMONT – With a large Catholic population in Lemont, meatless Fridays are a common practice during the Lenten season.

Luckily, Lemont has as many restaurants with special Lenten options as it has churches.

And for those who are not fans of the traditional Friday fish fries, the menus give plenty of other meatless options.
