West Chicago library celebrates Dr. Seuss' birthday

WEST CHICAGO – Thing 1 and Thing 2, played by West Chicago Public Library District Youth Services staff, attend a Dr. Seuss birthday party March 2 at the library in honor of the 109th anniversary of the author's birthday.

The event was the culmination of a week-long "Seussabration" that featured various Seuss-themed activities, including a Read Across America event and a showing of “The Lorax."

In addition to a special visit from Thing 1 and Thing 2, the birthday party also included stories and cake.
