BOLINGBROOK – A Bolingbrook man is facing charges after allegedly threatening a Bolingbrook Public Works snow plow driver for plowing snow onto his driveway.

Around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Eugene K. Rhodes, 29, allegedly became irate after the plow driver pushed some snow onto the apron of his driveway. He then ran after the plow truck and confronted the driver down the street in the 200 block of Berkeley Drive, according to police.

Rhodes started yelling obscenities and threatened the driver, police said.

When Bolingbrook police arrived, a still irate Rhodes was reportedly picking up large chunks of snow and throwing them in the middle of the plowed street, according to police.

He then allegedly ignored a police officer's request for identification before running into his garage, police said. Rhodes also allegedly pushed the officer while resisting arrest, according to police.

Rhodes was charged with disorderly conduct, aggravated battery to a police officer, resisting arrest and obstructing, police said.

There were no injuries.

Rhodes was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility. He was also issued a ticket for depositing snow on a roadway.
