Flagg Creek Heritage Society to host family friendly program March 29

PLEASANTDALE – The Flagg Creek Heritage Society will host a family friendly program at the Pleasantdale Park District at the end of this month.

The program will feature George Godfrey – a citizen Potawatomi – who will be speaking about his great-great-grandmother, Watchekee, and her life experiences. The program will explore the early history of the area, first nation activies and it's continued settlement.

Godfrey's storytelling will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. March 29 at the park district, 7425 S. Wolf Road, in Burr Ridge.
