Unlawful sale charged
Haifa Abu-Baker, 41, 5932 W. 89th St., Oak Lawn (Travel Mart employee), and Debra Leiss, 46, 10837 Claridge St., Westchester (BP employee), were charged with unlawful sale of tobacco to a minor between 1:11 and 2:20 p.m. Feb. 28 at BP Amoco and Hinsdale Oasis Travel Mart, 149 E. Ogden Ave. Employees of BP Amoco and Hinsdale Oasis Travel Mart sold cigarettes to minors during a tobacco compliance check at all businesses in the village.
Identity theft reported
• Someone opened a cell phone account using the victim's name, date of birth and social security number at noon Feb. 25 in the 300 block of Radcliffe Way. The outstanding balance on the account is $1,233.27.
• Someone opened a ComEd account using the victim's social security number between 12:01 a.m. July 30, 2012 and 8:15 a.m. March 10 (reported March 10) in the 200 block of Justina Street. Outstanding balance on the account is $2,005.61.
Domestic battery reported
A male family member made contact of an insulting or provoking nature with a woman and her son at 11 p.m. March 6 at Spinning Wheel Apartments, 21 Spinning Wheel Road.
Domestic battery charged
Girgis Isaac, 57, 203 Chanticleer Lane, was charged with domestic battery at 5:25 p.m. March 8 in the 200 block of Chanticleer Lane. Suspect made contact of an insulting or provoking nature with a female family member.
