HINSDALE – The Hinsdale Humane Society (HHS) is offering an internship opportunity this summer for students who have completed sophomore or junior year of college.
The internship, which is about three months and 25 hours per week, will offer experience in special events planning, media relations, graphic design, donor solicitation and fundraising.
The intern will work with staff and volunteers through events and will learn about the inner workings of a non-profit animal welfare organization, according to the HHS website.
If applicable, credit hours will be allocated according to the intern's university standards. Upon completion of the internship, a $1,000 scholarship is awarded.
