Forest Preserve District of DuPage County selling fishing licenses

As of March 3, residents can buy fishing licenses, inland trout stamps and water usage stamps through the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, according to a district news release.

The licenses are regulated and issued through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and are required for fishers ages 16 and older who do not have a disability when fishing on public waters in Illinois. Licenses are available for $15 annually and trout stamps and water usage stamps are $6.50 each.

Residents can obtain licenses and stamps from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays to Fridays at the district headquarters, 3S580 Naperville Road, Wheaton.
