As of March 3, residents can buy fishing licenses, inland trout stamps and water usage stamps through the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, according to a district news release.
The licenses are regulated and issued through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and are required for fishers ages 16 and older who do not have a disability when fishing on public waters in Illinois. Licenses are available for $15 annually and trout stamps and water usage stamps are $6.50 each.
Residents can obtain licenses and stamps from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays to Fridays at the district headquarters, 3S580 Naperville Road, Wheaton.
