CLARENDON HILLS – The fiscal year 2014- 2015 budget for Clarendon Hills is now available for review on the village's website.
The proposed budget represents the village staff's effort to balance the priorities of the village and residents with current fiscal constraints and growing capital needs, according to the village's website.
The next step is for residents and the village board to review the document. Village staff is requesting that residents submit budget questions to Village Manager Randy Recklaus through email at firstname.lastname@example.org by 5 p.m. Monday.
The questions, along with submitted village board questions, will be made public on the village website on March 13 along with responses from the village staff.
At 8 a.m. March 15, the village will host a budget workshop meeting at the Clarendon Hills Police Station, 448 Park Ave., to allow for an in depth review of the budget.
Incorporating the input of the village board and residents, the final budget will be up for first reading at 7 p.m. April 7 at the regularly scheduled village board meeting. A final vote is expected at the following meeting on April 21.
