CLARENDON HILLS – As hard as it may be to imagine, spring and summer will eventually arrive and guests will once again flock to the Clarendon Hills Park District's Lions Park Pool at 100 Byrd Court.

The aquatics complex features a 12-foot diving well with one-meter and three-meter diving boards, a six-lane lap pool, a zero-depth splash area with an interactive water playground, a drop slide and multi-jet splash pad.

This year, the Lions Park Pool will officially open for the 2014 season on May 24 and will remain open through Labor Day. Season pool passes will officially go on sale at the Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Ave., on March 17.

In 2014, a regular family pass for residents of Clarendon Hills will sell for $285, while the family plus pass will sell for $325 to Clarendon Hills residents this season, according to a news release from the Clarendon Hills Park District.

An individual pass for Clarendon Hills residents is available for $150 while a senior pass (age 60 or better) will sell for $70 per person to Clarendon Hills adults this year.
