LOMBARD – The Glenbard Parent Series: Navigating Healthy Families will present guest Lynn Marie Burks from 10:30 a.m. to noon March 8 at Glenbard South High School, 23W200 Butterfield Road in Glen Ellyn.
Burks, an expert in the field of experiential learning, will speak on career trends for the next decade. Experiential learning is the process of solving problems by way of integrated learning.
Burks will focus on current economic trends that show multiple pathways to attaining higher education and prosperity. The information will assist parents, students and educators toward navigating the ever-changing labor market and the increasing cost and return on investment of college.
