The O'Connell family: Kellene (from left); Brady, 4; Matt; and Quinn, 1, is getting out their green for the second annual Shamrockin' For A Cure fundraiser, for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on Friday 2014. Brady has Cystic Fibrosis.

LA GRANGE – After selling out with more than 400 people at last year’s event, Shamrockin’ For A Cure will return this month at a larger venue.

The St. Patrick’s Day -themed event will begin at 7 p.m. March 7 at Countryside Banquets, 6200 Joliet Road. The night will include Irish dancers, bagpipes, a live band, auctions and more. Tickets, which also will be available at the door, cost $60 per person and include beer, wine and food.

Shamrockin’ For A Cure, which began as a family and friend get together, supports the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Proceeds raised from the Irish-themed party will benefit the foundation and go toward CF research.
