Rally for Illinois House candidate Keith Matune set for Saturday

DOWNERS GROVE – Illinois House district 81 candidate Keith Matune is hosting an open-invitation campaign rally Saturday.

The event's keynote speaker is Pat Hughes, a U.S. Senate candidate in 2010. He will be joined by Illinois Family Action Executive Director David Smith and special guest supporter Will “Kup” Kupisch, former Downers Grove North High School teacher, counselor and coach.

Doors will open at 9:40 a.m. Saturday for the rally and volunteer day, with the program beginning at 10 a.m.

The rally is at Ashyana Banquets, 1620 75th St., Downers Grove.

Matune is running against current District 81 State Rep. Ron Sandack in the Republican primary March 18.
