WWll veterans and speakers to visit Clarendon Hills Middle School

CLARENDON HILLS – Eighth graders at Clarendon Hills Middle School will travel back in time with the help of veterans from World War II on Feb. 28.

Eight local WWII Veterans will take 30 minutes each to share their personal stories, show slides and props from their time in the war and take questions from students, according to a news release.

Students will also hear from a WWII medic and nurse, as well as WWII weapons experts and a Holocaust survivor.
