OAK BROOK – PIRCH, a retail provider of appliance and plumbing products, announced a grand opening, to be held 10 a.m. March 8 at Oakbrook Center.

The store will welcome visitors of every stripe – from homeowners in the midst of construction, to those simply in search of instruction, according to a news release.

PIRCH collaborated with FITCH to create the 30,000 square-foot Oak Brook flagship store.

Once opened, PIRCH will also provide its signature "try before you buy" experience throughout the store, with fully-functional vignettes featuring live cooktops, ovens, refrigerators and grills, as well as working showers, sinks and baths.

PIRCH was founded in 2009 by a group of entrepreneurs and business leaders who set out "to prove that shopping for appliances and plumbing products could be inspirational," according to the release.
