Pamela Bylsma to return to D86 as assistant superintendent of academics

HINSDALE – The Hinsdale District 86 Board of Education named Pam Bylsma assistant superintendent for academics at its Feb. 13 meeting.

Bylsma will begin her contract with the district July 1.

Bylsma served as assistant principal and dean of students at Hinsdale Central High School for 11 years and achieved national recognition for the Character Counts Education Program she helped develop and administer during that time, according to a news release from District 86.

Most recently, Bylsma has served as principal of Riverside Brookfield High School.
