Village of Woodridge employees to take Super Plunge Friday, Saturday

WOODRIDGE – Four Village employees will be participating in the Law Enforcement Torch Run Super Plunge in Lake Michigan this Friday and Saturday.

The event, which benefits the Special Olympics, has the contestants taking 24 dips – one every hour. Each participants is asked to raise at least $2,500 for the plunge. Representing the Village of Woodridge will be Police Officer Sean Murray, Police Officer Dan McIntyre, Deputy Chief Tom Stefanson and Director of Public Works Chris Bethel.
