THUMBS UP: Good luck to Lombard resident Mike McNett who is in Belarus right now for the 11th World Ice Fishing Championship. The team captain hopes to lead the U.S. to its first world title since 2010. Here's hoping the fish are hungry.

THUMBS DOWN: Residents of the Deicke Home in Lombard are in jeopardy of losing their home. The private, nonprofit residence for adults with developmental disabilities will close March 31 after 31 years if it is unable to secure additional funding.
