NAPERVILLE – A Burnham man was charged Saturday morning with robbing a PNC Bank in Naperville.

Kevin A. Johnson, 30, of Burnham was charged with one count of felony bank robbery, according to media reports.

Police said Johnson entered the bank, located at 9 E. Ogden Ave., at about 2:30 p.m. Friday and demanded money from the teller, according to media reports. Johnson reportedly kept his right hand in his coat pocket, threatening to shoot the teller, according to media reports.

Investigators reviewing surveillance footage confirmed Johnson pulled "a black object that resembled a handgun" from his waistband, according to media reports.

Naperville Police arrested Johnson Friday at his work, and investigators confirmed Johnson had been under investigation in connection with a Jan. 17 robbery in Downers Grove, according to media reports.

Johnson was ordered held until his next court date, scheduled for Feb. 20.
