Glenbard North beats West Aurora, moves into tie for first in DVC

AURORA - The Glenbard North boys basketball team went on the road Friday night and picked up its biggest win of the winter, knocking off West Aurora 83-81.

With the win, the Panthers moved into a first-place tie in the DuPage Valley Conference along with the Blackhawks and Naperville Central.

Glenbard North and Naperville Central will square off next Friday in Carol Stream. The Panthers won the first meeting on a three-pointer by Chip Flanigan as time expired.
