OAK BROOK – The Misericordia Women’s League will be hosting its 18th annual fundraiser, "Mis Queen of Hearts," on March 8 at Drury Lane in Oak Brook.

Beginning at 7 p.m., more than 450 friends and supporters can enjoy an evening of Las Vegas-style gambling, including a casino, silent art auction, live auction and live music, according to a news release.

Since its inception, the league has contributed over $3 million from its annual fundraisers to support Misericordia Home. The league’s dedicated efforts go beyond its annual event to include fundraisers such as Misericordia Candy Day sales, golf outings, bowling tournaments and others, according to the release.

Serving Chicago for over 90 years, Misericordia – Heart of Mercy, is home to 600 children and adults with mild to severe developmental disabilities, supporting them with care to maximize independence and self-determination, read the release.
