Glenbard South wins outright Metro Suburban Conference title

GLEN ELLYN - Needing one victory to clinch the outright Metro Suburban Conference title, the Glenbard South girls basketball team put an exclamation point on its run through the league with a 85-34 win over Elmwood Park Friday.

With the victory, the Raiders improved to 18-6 on the year and 11-0 in the MSC, with the conference finale set for next Friday at Fenton.

Tomei Ball led all scorers with 25 points and Steffy Bazigos chipped in with 23. Syndey Bauman added 14 points in the win.

Glenbard South led 31-13 at halftime and then outscored the visitors 25-13 in the third quarter to put the game away.
