City reminds Wheaton residents of dangers of coyotes

WHEATON – Coyotes may be more active and visible during the daytime in Wheaton over the next month, according to a news release from the city.

Coyotes typically mate in February or early spring, the release said, so residents are encouraged to keep their pets on a leash and ensure they are not providing them with food.
