Nazareth football players set to sign letters of intent

LA GRANGE PARK – Nazareth Academy announced that football players Will Colmery, Robbie Brindley, Doug DiFusco, Jack Dolan, Cyle Tucker and Joey Fontano signed to continue their football careers.

Colmery, a defensive end from Western Springs, is the only Division I signing of the group. He will head to Purdue.

Robbie Brindley (Clarendon Hills) will play defensive back at Saint Xavier. Saint Xavier won the NAIA National Championship in 2011. Another defensive standout from Clarendon Hills, Dolan, was a captain this fall for the Roadrunners and will head to John Carroll (Division III) just outside of Cleveland.

DiFusco (Naperville) is a wide receiver/defensive back bound for the University of Indianapolis (Division II).

Tucker, an all-conference fullback from River Forest, will head to NAIA Benedictine College in Kansas. Fontano, a captain and wide receiver from Addison, will join him.
