LOMBARD – Commonwealth Edison is planning tree trimming for a western portion of Lombard later this month to ensure electrical reliability.

The power company will be working in the area bordered by Main Street to the east, Columbine Avenue to the west, Hickory Road to the north and Wilson Avenue to the south. Qualified line-clearance workers contracted by ComEd will be performing the tree pruning work.

ComEd has notified affected customers and property owners with a statement for the vegetation management activities that are planned.
