A vibrant mural inside Firehouse Subs, 100 E. Roosevelt Road in Villa Park, pays tribute to the Villa Park Fire Department and depicts local firefighters extinguishing a fire at the abandoned Ovaltine Factory in 1985.

THUMBS UP: Good luck to a new sandwhich shop in Villa Park. In addition to serving sandwiches, Firehouse Subs at 100 E. Roosevelt Road pays tribute to the Village Park Fire Department and works to raise money for fire department grants.

THUMBS UP: Georgi and Frank Clement of Villa Park continue to honor the memory of their daughter by supporting families of chronically ill children. The Cupid's Kisses event Saturday in Elmhurst will remember Mia, who died at 17 months old after battling kidney disease, and proceeds will benefit two local families.
